Sozo Tower Defense Features at a Glance: What You Get
A quick tour of everything inside Sozo Tower Defense: 160 levels, 8 realms, 8 towers, 48 enemy types, 5 difficulty modes, plus VR and mixed reality.

If you are weighing up a new Quest game, you probably want the facts in one place. Here is a no-nonsense list of Sozo Tower Defense features, taken from the developer's own page, with a note on what each one means for how you actually play.
The numbers
Sozo is built around four headline figures: 160 levels, 8 realms, 8 tower types and 48 enemy types. The levels are split evenly, with twenty per realm, and each has its own path and waves. That is a large campaign for a headset game, and the structure makes it easy to track progress one realm at a time.
Eight realms with their own rules
Each realm adds a twist rather than just a new backdrop. Verdant Hollow monsters regenerate, Ember Wastes enemies leave fire puddles that slow your towers, Frostbite Reach monsters burst into frost, Sunken Depths monsters heal each other, Clockwork Citadel machines shrug off weak hits, Necropolis enemies rise again once, Void Nebula monsters phase out of reach and Neon Overdrive monsters fire an EMP on death. Our guide to themed worlds explains why that design works.
Eight towers, three tiers
The roster is Ballista, Cannon, Frost Spire, Tesla Coil, Flamethrower, Missile Battery, Prism Laser and Arcane Obelisk. Each can be upgraded through three tiers, and the game says combinations matter, so mixing damage types is part of the puzzle. If you want to understand what each one is for, read our tower roles guide.
Enemies and bosses
Beyond the 48 enemy types, the page highlights four kinds of challenge: fast swarms of weak flyers, slow armored brutes, flying enemies that skip the path, and giant bosses such as the Kraken and the Lich King, shields included. Each calls for a different answer, which keeps strategy from going stale.
Powers
Three powers let you step in during a tough wave. Meteor calls a meteor down on the thickest part of the wave, Stasis freezes the battlefield for a moment, and Overcharge pushes your towers past their limits.
Five difficulty modes
Casual, Normal, Hard, Super Hard and Ultra. Having five steps means you can start gently and raise the challenge as you learn, or go straight to the top if you are a veteran.
VR, mixed reality and your hands
You can play in a fantasy world in VR or switch to mixed reality, where portals open in your real walls and monsters cross your real floor. Both Touch controllers and hand tracking are supported. In either mode you can shoot flyers and punch them out of the sky.
What you need
Supported hardware is the Quest family: Quest 2, Pro, 3 and 3S. Everybody can play in VR, while Quest 3 and 3S show mixed reality with the nicest colour passthrough. Mixed reality needs a one-time Space Setup of your room, and you should keep a little clear space around you because you will reach, aim and punch. Our play space guide covers the details.
Where to get it
Sozo is sold through the Meta Horizon Store. Visit the Sozo Tower Defense page for the latest overview, or go straight to the store listing to check the current price.
How the features fit together
The features are not a random list; they feed one another. Eight realms give the enemy types a reason to change, which in turn makes the eight towers and three upgrade tiers matter, because no single build answers every realm. Powers cover the moments when planning is not enough, difficulty modes let you tune how often that happens, and the choice between VR and mixed reality changes the setting rather than the rules. Together they create a game where you can learn at your own pace and keep finding new reasons to replay a level.
